Thanksgiving Blessing Bags
Each year, the FUMC Open Table Young Adult Ministry organizes Thanksgiving meals kids for local families in need who have students attending local schools. Last year, we were able to grow this outreach to serve over 1300 people across multiple schools. Together, we aim to make Thanksgiving special for more families in our community, sharing God's love and joy with those who need it most.
Green Bag Food Drive
The Open Table partners with the Neighborhood Food Project to collect healthy, non-perishable food for local food pantries. Donations will support local Georgetown residents through the The Caring Place, Helping Hands, and Southwestern University’s Pirate Pantry, helping provide food for our neighbors in need throughout our community.
Building Beds
The Open Table partners with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to help build and deliver free beds to families with children who do not have a place of their own to sleep. Their mission is simple: "No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town!"
