About the event
All are invited to join the Micah Workers in the Fellowship Hall March 29 at 4:00 PM to hear a presentation by Damian Adame, a high school history teacher from Greensboro, North Carolina, who was selected to travel to Poland to learn about the Holocaust, the genocide of European Jews during World War II. He now shares the lessons he learned in a "living classroom" alongside 40 other educators through the hearing of the stories from the very places where they occurred.
The mission of the FUMC Georgetown Micah Workers is to provide scriptural and historical education about justice to inspire and encourage involvement in creating God’s beloved community.
