United Methodist Social Principles: The Social Community

The Micah Workers are hosting an exploration of The United Methodist Church Social Principles, which stand in the Wesleyan tradition of forthright moral witness and ethical action. The Social Principles invite us to “love God with our whole heart, mind, soul and strength and love and desire for our neighbors what we desire for ourselves.” (Matthew 22:37-40, Mark 12:30-31). Even if you did not attend a previous session, you are welcome to join any of the scheduled sessions or pop-up theology gatherings throughout the next year.

Another session will be held 5:00 - 6:30 PM Sunday, May 2, in the MCMC, and will focus on the theme of The Social Community.
