Social Principles of the UMC

FUMC Georgetown and the Micah Workers invite you to join us on a year-long journey of deliberative reflection and intentional dialogue between faith and practice as we take the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church and  explore how we live out our faith in the world.

Starting Sunday, September 13, there will be five one and a half hour sessions over the course of the year.

All events will take place from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM. 

• Session One - Sunday, September 13: Introduction to The Social Principles of the UMC

• Session Two - Sunday, October 4: The Economic Community 

• Session Three - Sunday, January 10: The Political Community
