Immigration Advocacy Symposium Watch Party

Co-hosted by the Micah Workers at FUMC Georgetown and the Justice and Mercy Committee at Wellspring UMC

While this event will be hosted in-person at Grace Avenue United Methodist in Frisco, Texas, First United Methodist Church in Georgetown is serving as a remote location where participants can watch the presentations and engage in conversations with a local context.

The event is for those who want to be advocates and allies for immigrants but need to know more about how to help.

Participate and you will leave grounded in hope and equipped to find ways that you and your church or group can make a difference. The afternoon will include worship, stories from recent Texas immigrant experiences, accurate information about the current state of immigration issues, and a menu of ways to take action that make sense for each person and context.
