Green Bag Food Drive

1 in 6 Texans struggle with hunger. Join our Open Table college-age ministry in collecting food for our local food banks. On Sunday, September 7, we will hand out green bags for you to fill with healthy, non-perishable goods. Pick up a few extra food items at the store, put them in your green bag, and bring the bag back to the church the following Sunday, September 14. Our students will then collect all the bags and take them to the Neighborhood Food Project drop-off site. Food will benefit our local food pantries: The Caring Place, Helping Hands, and Pirate Pantry on the campus of SU. For more information, email tina@fumcgt.org.
