About the event
Volunteer with special needs adults at Camp Sunshine, in the cool mountains of New Mexico June 21-26. Camp Sunshine empowers adults with mental disabilities to reach their full potential through a variety of recreational, spiritual, and social activities amidst the beauty of nature. Campers are inspired to embrace new experiences, learn more about Jesus, and foster feelings of self-worth, independence, and teamwork.
Volunteers will arrange to travel on their own. Carpooling options are available.
Housing options include:
Aspen Lodge: $175 per person (includes meals and housing) with an optional $14 linen rental for the week.
Forest Lodge: $300 per person (includes meals and upgraded air-conditioned housing)
Participants must complete Ministry Safe certification, Release of Liability Agreement, and Medical Form.
