Lisa's background is in architecture, and she has worked in building design for clients such as Randall's/Tom Thumb supermarkets, Whole Foods Market, and other commercial developers. Lisa then transitioned to graphic design for these clients, creating interior signage and wayfinding packages. In 2004, the diverse and ever-changing life of freelance design called, allowing her to expand her clientele to design graphics for law firms, resorts, financial institutions, and special events.
