Family Mission Opportunity 

Join us with your family at The Wesleyan Skilled Nursing on Monday, February 19 from 4PM to 5PM to play board games and card games with the residents. All volunteers (children and adults) will need a volunteer application on file by February 13 to participate. Email children@fumcgt.org for more information.

 

Saturday Morning Praydates

This group for children four-years-old and younger and their grown ups will meet on the last Saturday of each month at 8:30AM. We’ll start with snacks and free play. At 9:15, we’ll have parent + child bible story and prayer time. We’ll play and pray until 10AM in Room 130. The first Praydate will be on February 24. Please RSVP to laura@fumcgt.org if you can make it!

Family Lunch at Golden Rule

Families with children of all ages are invited to meet up after church for lunch on February 25. Meet in the private room at The Golden Rule (606 S. Church St.) for brunch and fellowship! 

 

Preschool Sunday School is Coming Back!

We’re re-launching our 2-year-old through 4-year-old Sunday School class on April 7 at 9:45AM in Room 201. If you’re interested in co-leading this class or being a supportive adult to assist the leader, please email laura@fumcgt.org. 

 

Community Easter Egg HuntOur annual Community Easter Egg Hunt is Sunday, March 24, from 3:00-4:00 PM at Getsemani. It is open to all children preschool-5th grade. FUMC Family Night at The Crossover

Families of children and youth are invited to meet at The Crossover (1717 Scottsdale Dr, Cedar Park) from 6PM to 8PM on Friday, April 12 for a night of food and fellowship. Meet at the tables near the playground. There will be food for purchase from food trucks and Kids can bring a football, soccer ball, Pickleball gear or a volleyball. There are ice-skating and video games indoors for an extra fee.

Camp Firelight Vacation Bible School

This summer’s VBS will be offered June 10-14 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Pre-K through 5th grade children will experience relevant music, exciting science, meaningful prayer, fun recreation, and memorable Bible stories that remind participants that we can trust God in every situation! Sign up information is coming soon. Decorating will be June 4 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Email laura@fumcgt.org with any questions.

 

Music Camp

Music Camp will be offered July 15-19 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM for children entering 1st-6th grade. Participants will experience relevant music, Bible stories, art movement, fun, and present a musical at the end of the week. Sign up information is coming soon.
