Children’s Church is for children ages 5 through third grade. It is a traditional worship experience designed specifically for children and a time of learning about the components of worship in our church. After the children's moment in the 10:45 AM Contemporary service, a member of the Children's Ministry staff will lead children to Room 1003 in the McKinney Christian Ministry Center (MCMC). Children whose families attend the 11:10 AM Sanctuary service should be dropped off in Room 1003 in the McKinney Christian Ministry Center (MCMC) at 11:05 AM. Parents who attend the 10:45 AM Contemporary service will sign their children out immediately following the Contemporary service. Children whose parents attend the 11:10 AM Sanctuary service will be walked to the Sanctuary by Children's Ministry staff to join their parents for the end of the service. Children’s Church will not meet on the first Sunday of every month so that families can receive Communion together and children have the opportunity to serve as scripture readers during the service.
