Spiritual Gift Survey
Each of us have been given gifts, yet most of us struggle to identify the ways in which we are gifted. We don’t necessarily see how we are called to ministry, yet each of us have, indeed, been called to partner with God, and to live out of who God created us to be for the sake of God’s purposes. The following spiritual gifts survey has been designed to help you begin to understand and live out of the gifts God has given you.
As you take this survey, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, answer each question honestly, without trying to “overthink” your response. Second, as you answer a series of questions, you may be given the opportunity to “skip” a section. This simply means that, thus far, your responses indicate that further questioning on specific gifts is unnecessary. Ultimately, you can choose whether to skip or not. Finally, if you decide to close out of the survey before you finish, you will need to start over. All information you supply is kept only for the time you have the survey open.
Our hope is to provide you with an easy tool for identifying your spiritual gifts. At the conclusion of the survey, you will have an opportunity to review your specific gifts and learn more about how these gifts can be used in ministry through the First United Methodist Church.
There are different spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; and there are different ministries and the same Lord; and there are different activities but the same God who produces all of them in everyone. A demonstration of the Spirit is given to each person for the common good.
