First United Methodist Church Georgetown has responded to many opportunities for expansion, renovation and restoration in its long history. At each opportunity, the congregation moved forward with vision and determination to create, nourish and enhance its ministries. Since 1849, each generation has lifted up its praise and promised a sustained and growing ministry for the community of Georgetown and Williamson County.
Now we must take Our Next Step Together...
- Reducing our current debt allowing additional funds to be available in the future to support an expanding ministry in our growing community.
- Providing additional space for ministry for our children – infants, preschoolers, and elementary ages - through additions and changes to Atkin Hall.
- Renovation and enhancement of safety and accessibility of our historic sanctuary.
We are honored to serve as your leadership chairs for Praise and Promise …Our Next Step Together. Your prayerful support over the next few weeks will carry forward our promise for the future.
