Lenten Devotionals
We need YOUR help! FUMC will be creating a book of devotionals based on the Lectionary readings for Lent, and needs people from the church to contribute.  Dates are still available; please contact Pastor Amy --  amy@fumcgt.org.

New Sunday School Classes!
Our new college Sunday School class meets at 9:45 a.m. in the small front room of Hope House, located across the street from the church at 1303 Elm Street.  The class is studying Adam Hamilton’s book, “Seeing Gray in a World of Black and White.”  All are welcome!
The Divorce Growth Group meets each Sunday in the Library on the 2nd floor.  All are welcome who have a need.

A Few Good Volunteers Needed!
For one and a half hours (6:30 - 8:00) on 8 Tuesday evenings from January 17 to March 6th to work with elementary children of the ESL participants. If you can help with some or all of these dates for this great FUMC outreach ministry email Barbara Pearce at bbptx@aol.com or 512.863.2186.

Rotation Sunday School for February (Kindergarten – 4^th grade)
Theme: Jesus and the Children: Jesus proclaimed through his words and actions that children are valued by God. 
Children have important roles to play in the community of faith.
  Bible verse: Let the children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs.  (Mark10:14)
