Grace Gardens...
The Columbarium at First
United Methodist Georgetown
First United Methodist Church Georgetown is our church home in every sense of the word. It is in this church that we center and sustain our Christian lives through baptism, confirmation, marriage, and worship. It is also here that the lives of the saints of our church are celebrated as they are sent into eternal life with the prayers and remembrances of our congregation. Plans for this beautiful new addition to the First United Methodist Church campus are now completed, providing a place of peace and focus for loving remembrance and prayer. Grace Gardens columbarium is a consecrated resting place for the interment of the ashes of cremated remains. Our garden is a beautiful place of peace not only for those who may come to remember departed loved ones but also any person in search of a place to reflect and pray. Within the walls of the columbarium, the restful sounds of the Trinity Fountain surrounded by beautiful landscaping and The Shepherd bronze statuary provide a tranquil setting for meditation. Columbarium space is modestly priced and reserved for the use of members of the congregation and their families.
