Missions
We have a vision for what God can accomplish through us in missions - locally and around the world. Through missions, we experience Christ’s love in a powerful and unique way. Our foundation for this work is the Great Commission in Matthew 28 where Jesus said to “Go and make disciples of all nations…” and the Great Commandment in Matthew 22:36-37 , “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul, and your mind…and love your neighbor as yourself.”
There are three primary avenues for involvement in missions: Prayer, Giving and Service. In addition to supporting United Methodist Missions worldwide, we are directly involved in the following outreach programs:

- Covenant Partner of Global Mission – sponsoring William Lovelace, Jr. in mission in Russia, supporting a nurses’ teaching clinic in Nigeria, and two Methodist Churches in the Republic of the Congo under Bishop Ntambo
